Introducing Our Author...

Christopher Carey

Christopher Carey is a children’s author and inspirational single parent of 2 children, who was born on the island of Jamaica and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He attended Saint John's University and has since faced many challenges in his life which include the overarching struggle of defeating homelessness.

​

Undaunted by this adversity, Christopher managed to create a wild haired, fun-loving little girl, loosely based off of his daughter. This little girl, soon referred to as Peggy Spaghetti, was about to embark on a marvelous adventure unbeknownst to our author at the time.

​

He had previously written music for local artists, but quickly found that stories for children was his true calling. His first book, The Adventures of Peggy Spaghetti, is aimed at younger readers and carries important messages such as being well-mannered and treating others with kindness.

​

In his free time Christopher devotes much of it to his growing children and finding peace through the inspiration that they offer him. As far as the future is concerned, Christopher will continue to do the very best he can to support his family, while continuing to write books that will spread life, love, and laughter to his young readers.
